The provincial organization working under the Benevolent Fund Ordinance, 1972 for the welfare of Government servants and their families.
Benevolent Fund Khyber Pakhtunkhwa works, under the provisions of the Benevolent Fund Ordinance, 1972, for the welfare of in-service and retired provincial Government servants and their families across the province.
The Benevolent Fund Board's head office is located in Peshawar, while District Benevolent Fund Boards have been established to provide easy access to employees of attached departments (BPS-01 to BPS-15) in their respective districts.
The Fund is constituted from compulsory monthly deductions made at source from every Government servant. Subscription is realised from the District Accounts Officers through the office of the Accountant General Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and transferred to the Benevolent Fund Board, where it is divided into Part-I (Gazetted) and Part-II (Non-Gazetted).
