The Benevolent Fund Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is working for the welfare of serving / retired provincial government employees as well as their families across the province under the provision of KP Benevolent Fund Ordinance 1972. The headquarter of the Benevolent Fund Board is located in Peshawar, whereas District Benevolent Fund Boards have been constituted to provide easy access to the employees (BS-01 to BS-15) of Attached Departments at their district / tribal distrit. The fund is made up of compulsory contributions recovered from each Government employee on monthly basis at source, at such rates as Government may, from time to time, prescribe. BF contribution rates effective from 1st March, 2021 are as under: -
The subscription / contribution is collected from District Account Officers by Accountant General Office Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and then transferred to KP Benevolent Fund Board on regular basis. The fund so collected is divided into following two parts:- Part – I (Gazetted) consist of contribution from Government employees working in BS-16 and Above. Part – II (Non-Gazetted) consist of contribution from Government employees working in BS-01 to BS-15. |
